Sunhill Nursing Home endeavours to meet every need that our Residents might have. 

While we provide most services in house there are of course some services which we will specifically bring in for Residents in order to meet their individual needs.

We Provide

• Nursing Services – Qualified, Registered Nurses are on site 24 hrs per day
• Medical Services – a full GP service is provided offering 24 hr cover as well as a Wednesday morning Surgery in the Nursing Home
• Carers – a team of well-trained Carers provide all personal needs to our Residents
• Kitchen Services – All food is prepared on site with individual tastes catered for
• Activities Coordinators – 2 full-time activities coordinators are employed
• Physiotherapy – A registered Physiotherapist provides a Mobility Clinic for Residents once a week
• OT – Occupational therapist offers service to residents every second week
• Hairdressing – A fully equipped Hair Salon is on site at Sunhill
• Laundry – A full laundry service is provided
• Hydro Therapy – we have a Hydrotherapy bath used for relaxation
• Chiropody – A chiropodist calls regularly to Sunhill

• Physiotherapy – when required by individual Residents for specific injury treatment
• Opticians – who can provide on-site services
• Dietician and Speech & Language Therapy – visit Sunhill every 8 weeks
• Dental – services can be accessed locally and can be provided in Sunhill where appropriate
• Hearing Aid – specialists can be accessed
